So you want to be a Godaddy Reseller?

WildWest Domains (ala Godaddy) has a (seemingly ) difficult certification process.
It is not helped by their sometimes incomplete, or inconsistent documentation.
Don't even try to use an out-of-box soap client because you will start pulling your hair out on day 3.
They won't certify you without completing the "7-step" OTE process. So there is no way to avoid it.
If you scan through their docs too quickly you will miss some key data/steps that will frustrate you to bits.
We went through the process, and after weeks of emailing back and forth with their support staff, and reading the WSDL file for the API datatypes, and calls, we were able to get certified to gain PRODUCTION status.
It seemed frustrating and time-consuming, but in actuality it is a rather straight-forward process that requires great attention to detail when going through their docs.
My advice: be patient and read both API docs.

- Make sure you are using the proper api username and password
- Make sure you add your server IP to allowed list in the OTE backend
- The API calls need to be made in the exact order as described in the docs
- The server URL to make the API calls to is: https://api.ote.wildwestdomains.com/WsWWDAPI/WAPI.asmx?WSDL
- The WSDL call/data definition file is also accessible via the server URL. Enter the URL in your browser, and you will see the definitions

Please understand that this is not a full implementation of the Godaddy API.
The script helps you get certified, to be able to go live.
After you sign up for the Reseller Account, you will receive
an email from Godaddy about the need to get certified.
If you do not complete WWD's Certification process, you will not be able to perform the reseller activities.
The certification process consist of making the 7 most used API calls.
After you complete the certification process, the source code will be useful for your programmers as a template to implement all WWD supported calls.
The 7 calls used in certification are the most likely ones you will be needing to perform daily reseller activities.
Any half decent programmer will be able to modify, the calls in the script with actual live data to perform your live operations, and add other calls if needed.
