Query the Adwords API for keyword stats and ideas with
our new Adwords Keyword Tool.
I have created a new tool keyword tool similar to the Google Keyword Tool available https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal.
The keyword tool uses the new AdWords API v201101.
As you may know, Google recently deprecated the v13 API and are now using AdWords API v201101.
You can now have your own tool running on your server.
Then you said: Why do I need this tool, if Google has one already on their site (with even more features)?
The reason you will find, is that after a few uses of the Google's tool, the image verification comes up.
Naturally this is expected, because of the millions of SEO gurus out there that can start using Google's Tool, sending hundreds, thousands or even millions of keywords at a time.
So the smart business people at Google have an API do pretty much everything they offer as a product, or service.
Thus, you need to you use the API.
You have much more freedom with the API (well, because you're paying for it).
That's pretty much it.
You need the tool if you are an Internet Marketing, Advertising or SEO specialist, and are trying to create/manage your Adwords Campaigns.
You need the right stats and data to better target your campaigns, and know where to spend more of your advertising budget.
It has a simple HTML interface, and outputs the statistics
for the keywords ( and keyword ideas ). The following statistics is reported per keyword:
- Average Monthly Searches
- Global Monthly Searches
- Competition
- Match Type
- Keyword Category

How much does a search cost?
Say you searched:
"creditcards" "phrase" "return related keywords"(unchecked)
the cost would be:
5 units (for the search)
+0.1 units (for the result, in this case 1)
-------------------
5.1 units (RESULT A)
On the other hand,
If you searched:
"creditcards" "phrase" "return related keywords" (CHECKED), Number of Results: 10
the cost would be:
5 units (for the search)
+1 unit (0.1units x 10 for the results, in this case 10 keywords data returned)

6 units (RESULT B)
All the above are for the non CPC version.
Now, if you were to do the same search in the CPC version,
RESULT A will now be (5.1 + 15) = 20.1 units [ where 15 = 1 CPC result x 15 units/CPC result ]
RESULT B will be (6 + 150) = 156 units [ where 150 = 10 CPC results x 15 units/CPC result ]
